Ring Cap is an unlockable trinket added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

Effects

  • Whenever Isaac places a Bomb.pngBomb, an extra bomb is spawned next to the original.
    • This does not consume more than one bomb pickup.

Notes

  • The extra bomb spawns in a random location adjacent to the original.
  • The additional bomb is affected by any items that affect bombs.
  • Ring Cap will also work with Giga Bomb.pngGiga Bombs collected via Safety ScissorsSafety Scissors.
  • Can be used to open the door to Bedrooms and the MinesMines / AshpitAshpit with only one bomb.
  • This trinket has no effect on the Explosive Diarrhea pill.
  • The bombs explode simultaneously with each other, without risk of any being launched.

Trivia

  • Ring Cap may be a reference to Bomber's Ring from The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, which allows the player to place down two bombs at once.
