Hollow Heart is an unlockable trinket added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

Effects

  • Grants one Bone Heart.pngBone Heart container upon entering a new floor.
    • If Isaac has 12 heart containers, the added bone heart will replace the rightmost Soul Heart.pngSoul Heart (if any).

Synergies

  • Collectible Brittle Bones icon.pngBrittle Bones: Allows Isaac to sacrifice a bone heart for a fire rate increase every floor.
  • Collectible Glowing Hourglass icon.pngGlowing Hourglass: Bone hearts will persist when returning to a previous floor, and another will be granted after going back down.
  • Golden Trinket Golden Trinket / Collectible Mom's Box icon.pngMom's Box: Adds 2 bone heart containers instead of one.
