Apollyon's Best Friend is an unlockable trinket added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

Effects

  • Spawns an attack locust familiar identical to the default ones spawned by AbyssAbyss. It will fly forward while Isaac is shooting and deals contact damage (except in Repentance+) equal to Isaac's damage.
    • (in Repentance+) The locust is treated as a Quality 3 locust and deals 1.5x Isaac's damage.

  • Unlike many other effects which grant a familiar lasting multiple rooms, Apollyon's Best Friend is unaffected by the duplication bug from Glowing HourglassGlowing Hourglass.
