Clog

Clog is a boss introduced in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance and can appear in Dross.

Behavior

Clog remains stationary in the center of the room, with the exception of a rare boss room layout where he spawns at the top center. He performs the following attacks:

Spits out a Drip below him, repeating this attack a random number of times.
- Clog stops spitting out Drips if 4 are already alive.
- Clog alternates between spitting out Drips and performing his other attacks. If 4 Drips are alive, he skips spawning them and continuously uses his other attacks.
Creates three lines of farts that spread across the room, knocking away Isaac and Drips. Each fart has a chance to spawn Poops.
- 1-2 Corny Poops are spawned in this attack, and no more than 3 can be up at a time.
Shoots out 4 spiraling lines of projectiles, consisting of either slow projectiles with small gaps in between or fast projectiles with large gaps in between.
- The projectiles pass over poop for 1 second after being fired, and are blocked by poop afterward.
- The gaps between the slower projectiles are barely large enough for Isaac to move between them if he is next to the left or right wall.
Clog spins and causes the water in the room to circulate around him clockwise or counterclockwise, catching Isaac and any Drips, Bombs, and/or Pickups in its current.
- This attack can only be used if at least 2 Drips are alive.
- Like other water-based effects in the Dross floor, Isaac is unaffected by this current if he has flight.
Upon Clog's defeat, he and all remaining Drips are "flushed" away identical to the effect of using Flush! on them.

Notes

If a Butt Bombs Bomb goes off in the same room as Clog, it heals him.
The hitbox of poops is small enough for Isaac and the Drips spawned by Clog to move diagonally between them, even if they are undamaged.
- This happens frequently when Clog causes the water to circulate and forces them to be pressed against the poops he spawns.
All poops created by Clog are significantly less likely to spawn pickups until Clog is defeated and Isaac re-enters the room, at which point they return to having their normal pickup drop chance.
Flush! kills Clog instantly and causes him to leave behind 6 Dips.

Trivia

Clog appears to be a boss version of a Splurt.
A clog is a blockage in a toilet and/or its drain pipes.
- This is further referenced in Clog's death animation, where he gets flushed into the floor.
Clog has many similarities to Brownie, though it is unknown whether or not they are truly connected.
- Clog's "voice" is the same as that of Brownie, albeit pitched down.
- Clog has buck teeth, just like Brownie.
- Clog and Brownie are both large, round balls of poop.
