Effects
- Restores one full
Red Heart. 
When playing in co-op, all other players will be healed for a 
Half Red Heart.

Tainted Magdalene starts with this item by default. - This item can drop from
Super Lust.
Synergies
Book of Virtues: Creates Red Heart wisps in the middle ring. Enemies killed by the wisps' tears have a 20% chance to drop a full Red Heart.
Car Battery: Doubles the amount Yum Heart heals.-
Jacob and Esau: Heals the character who uses it for a full red heart and the other for half a red heart. -
Keeper / 
Tainted Keeper: Heals one Coin Hearts; no blue fly is generated. 
Sharp Plug + 
The Wafer / 
Cancer: Allows infinite Red Heart regeneration.- Tainted Magdalene: Heals two Red Hearts upon each usage.
- Tainted Magdalene + Sharp Plug: Allows infinite usage and infinite invincibility frames.

Interactions
Maggy's Bow: No effect; will still only replenish one full Red Heart.

- This item is used in The Tank (challenge #5) and Cursed! (challenge #10).
- Yum Heart is the only item that more than 1 character starts with (excluding
Eden). 
Yuck Heart is a 
Rotten Heart variation of Yum Heart.- This item along with any form of healing other than the starting item has no effect in Have a Heart (challenge #25)
