Most obviously skipping the first treasure room while you're holding Crystal Ball does not guarantee a Stage 2 Planetarium despite them being able to generate there.

The Pill effects Golden Pills use are all 37 effects not in the pill pool, you can easily test it if you have Telepills and Paralasys in the normal pill pool and then spam Golden Pills with Placebo, you will never be interupted. Either way i tested until i saw all 37 effects that weren't in the regular pool and i never saw the Golden pill do an effect the regular pills had.
