Should I add tech zero or flat stone to damage table since they technically can affect damage? How about Kamikaze which does contact damage? Or items that do poison damage? What qualifies for this table and what does not?-Sirtimmothybrentwood (talkcontribslogsblock log)

Only items that directly change the actual damage stat qualify for this table. --Exschwasion (talk) 19:37, 20 June 2018 (UTC)

This isn't exactly the most frequented page, but someone who actually understands the templates should add/fix the entries for Repentance. I believe Terra, Blood Oath, Golden Razor, Sol, Stapler, Heartbreak, Dogma, and Sausage at least need to be on here. --PorkchopMarth (talk) 05:45, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

The templates aren't automatic. All you do is add every item manually. This wiki doesn't use effect tags, so there's no way to automate it. TheMurlocAggroB (talk) 16:39, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

Damage Formula Calculations for Jacob & Esau, and Eden.

The CharBaseDmg variable doesn't line up correctly with the values for Eden and Jacob & Esau; both characters calculate their effective damage as if their CharBaseDmg was 3.50, and then subtract the difference between their starting damage and 3.50. For damage calculations, this means that a standard +1 damage up gives the player +1.69 damage in the same way that characters with a CharBaseDmg of 3.50 would.

Am I missing something, or is the CharBaseDmg variable misrepresentative of these characters' damage stat calculations?

This is correct, they actually do have just -0.75/+0.25 damage post formula, for the formula they have the same 1.0*3.5 as most characters. Clarified in the article. --Frionil (talk) 02:45, 7 August 2021 (UTC)
