The online beta received a patch on December 7th, 2023, announced on Twitter.
Documented Changes
- Fixed "Disable All Mods" not letting you into online mode.
- Added delay to door that was entered so you can't immediately go back through it.
- Added player transparency option.
- Added player sound option.
- New compact pause screen.
- Text chat functionality
- Made it so you won't get a quick match lobby as a result if you've previously left that lobby
- Changes to countdown timer in lobby screen
- Beta now uses copy of save data so your main branch save remains untouched
- "A bunch of other small issue fixes"
