Book of Revelations

Trying to use the book of revelations method for cube of meat and ball of bandages but the 3 horseman always drops the other item ruining the run. So the line saying if cube of meat spawns from a horseman it always will is incorrect. --GuybrushKirk (talk) 00:37, 13 December 2014 (UTC)

If you're unlucky enough to get Mr Fred on Womb I then even the Book of Revelations can't do anything for you.

Hello! I wanted to point the fact during a run, I faced Famine and got a Ball of Bandages. Normal stuff. Then I moved on to the Depths and got War as the boss of Depths I, and that's when I got a Cube of Meat. Didn't the page say that if you get a Cube of Meat, every subsequent drop from a Harbinger will be a Cube of Meat and vice versa? I wonder if it comes from the fact Pestilence hasn't appeared in Chapter 2. The seed I was in is VY2X MXSB. Could you please enlighten me? --Sekiboomki (talk) 14:18, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

"If the Cube of Meat is obtained in Basement I, every subsequent drop from a Harbinger will be a Cube of Meat too. This means that a level 4 Meat Boy can be obtained after beating Death on the first floor of chapter 4." Straight from the Cube of Meat page, section "Methods to create a Super Meat Boy", part "The Book of Revelations strategy". This is a feature that was added in a PC update (don't remember which one), so I suppose you're playing on Vita/PS4 (I don't really know which machine didn't get main updates yet). - Metarkrai

Can it be used as an alternative to Wafer in Sharp Plug + Wafer strategy?

The D20 Strategy

On the D20 strategy you added "start as isaac" This will make getting the D20 in the initial room harder as isaac starts with the D6 special item. The only reason I can see to start as isaac would be to roll the store on floor 1, but that won't be a good idea since you need 48 hour energy pill and a bunch of bombs before rolling the store. I'm changing it back just to save the trouble of finding D20 in the first room.

Interesting Note on Libraries and floor generation

I have not seen this anywhere, but I think it should really be mentioned here. Earlier in game I noticed that shops have a tendency unlike other rooms(except boss and SSecret Room) to be away from the spawn, but didn't think much about it. But now, when constantly rerolling for the Book of Revelations a single-lock door would occasionally appear in the spawn room and the one time I cared to open it, it was a library. Because of that when I found a single-lock door in the spawn room I always tried to unlock it and surprisingly 4 out of 5 times it actually was a library. This can't be random, so can somebody else please check this and confirm my theory? (The 4 out of 5 suggests that I had really poor luck with the boss dropping cube of meat rather than ball of bandages, played Isaac of course) This theory might be relevant to the pages for Cube of Meat, (Ball of Bandages), Shop and Library.

Book of revelations strat

I've been trying this strat for a while, and realized that if you restart until you get a locked door in the starting room, it will be a library. Can't be absolutely, 100% sure about this, but it's been like that at least 10 consecutive times.

Maybe it would be ok to add that, since it saves a ton of time when looking for just the book?

On a sidenote, I'm baffled by my bad luck, I've had at least 8 ball of bandages consecutively and I already have the Bandage girl achievement.

Sorry, didnt see that the same thing was posted above, and I'm not used to wikis so I don't know how to erase this.

Potato Peeler

My edit was reverted, but i think potato peeler should be mentioned somewhere on the page... it doesnt make sense to not mention something so directly related to the item...----

I added Potato Peeler to notes on the Cube of Meat page, however, BFFS! is considered an obvious synergy meaning that it's basically common sense so it has been removed from the page. If you wanna argue your case for why it should stay on the page talk to JokerPixel. --Sirtimmothybrentwood 16:55, 2 June 2019 (UTC).

I didn't mention bffs! here because i understood the obviousness of that one, Bffs! was on the potato peeler page so i thought maybe it mattered for cube of meat - Potato peeler is more important imo. thanks for adding it. Beesafree (talk) 17:07, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
