Can Lilith now get another Incubus from CC?

In the past it would simply do nothing instead of spawning an Incubus when playing as Lilith, but today I noticed after leaving a room that I had another permanent Incubus. --Gameboy17 (talk) 04:26, 2 March 2017 (UTC)

2/6/2016 Does Cambion Conception work with The Lost & Holy Mantle?

The Cambion Conception seems to make Lilith fly somehow, and can also make her invincible for a briff period of time. Have no idea how to trigger this effect, seems to be random. the flying seems to last forever.

I don't think that's Cambion Conception, it seems more like the effect of Empty Vessel, which grants flying and invincibility when you have no red hearts. --Exschwasion (talk) 08:36, 31 October 2015 (UTC)

So, as far as I know, Cambion Conception summons a "dark" familiar (Devil Baby, Dark Bum, Li'l Brimstone, Succubus?, maybe others) after you take enough hits. They stay with you until you start a new run. I'm not sure how many it is yet, but Lilith (and presumably the other characters) will look more and more pregnant the closer you are to acquiring your new friend. Hope that helps!

Has anyone noticed this issue where you simply do not get the Cambion Conception when starting a run as Lilith? This happens to me every time. From the wiki page, it looks like she is intented to start with it under all circumstances.

I've played a bit with Cambion Conception, I'm not sure the page reflects it quite right. For one thing, the timer-based idea of demon familiar spawning is completely false, because I've taken damage once and again within 3 or 4 damage instances in the same room and gotten another. Therefore, the spawn condition must be luck-based, though I do not know the exact value. Furthermore, the familiars spawned were only Leeches; they seem to be permanently charmed Leeches with a reskin (black skin and red eyes), as they constantly emitted the Charm particles. Also, it is likely that using some form of self-damage will guarantee a Leech spawn, as using both Blood Rights and a Blood Donation Machine appeared to spawn a Leech every time. Furthermore, they are not permanent; they can and will die in combat. They do take damage from enemies, and I think they can also damage each other. Even the Anemic creep made by Headless Baby seemed to harm them. The Leeches also appeared to charge depending upon proximity to the character, but my attempts to force them to charge in a specific direction seemed inconclusive. Someone who is a lot smarter than me will have to continue these studies. (If there are circumstances behind spawning the other demonic familiars I am not aware of, please prove me wrong! I'd love to see more of them.)

Are you sure that's Cambion Conception at work here? It seems to be bugged, maybe you don't have it, even though you think you do and / or should have it. What you're describing sounds exactly like the My Shadow item, i believe.

This is embarassing, I did actually have My Shadow at the time. Maybe I didn't have it after all... Let's just forget my whole blurb up there.

Cambion Conception glitch/nerf

Instead of spawning incubus, cambion conception will not spawn anything after the prerequisite 15/30 hits. I have tested this and received the same result multiple times. Cambion conception used to be able to spawn incubus, but it was changed in some patch

This only happens if you're playing Lilith, Cambion Conception can still spawn Incubus on any other character. --Exschwasion (talk) 23:34, 7 January 2016 (UTC)
Now that I've unlocked the Cambion Conception, when I play Lilith and I get 15 hits, it spawns a companion, so maybe must be unlocked first --Ginopinoshow (talk) 11:31, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
