I don't think this description is correct. It seems the effect, (either blue map, treasure map, or compass) is random.

Curse of the Lost

If Curse of the Lost or an Amnesia pill is active on a floor, X-Ray Vision effect is provided immediately.

I'm pretty sure this isn't true, because I just used Book of Secrets on a floor with Curse of the Lost, and I did not get X-Ray Vision. I had to randomly put bombs on walls to find the secret room. I didn't remove it in case someone else wants to check first. MrCarth (talk) 22:06, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
