Just completed the challenge, but on Catacombs 1 I encountered a double-sized (Double Trouble) boss room and I didn't encounter Bloat, but Chub and Pin. Perhaps it is an oversight that double bosses are not replaced with Bloat bosses.
PHD appears to partially override the pill randomness. The pill effect in the lower corner matches what the pill actually does, the flavor text that appears when it is used is still that of a random affect.
I believe bringing up the Lucky Rock trinket would be incredibly useful. Honestly, that thing is what got me through this challenge and I was incredibly lucky to have gotten it. 73.175.124.113 00:38, 21 December 2018 (UTC)
