Your Soul is an unlockable trinket added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

Effects

  • Grants 1 free Devil Deal item in exchange for the trinket.
    • After a Devil Deal has been taken, the trinket is removed from Isaac's inventory.
    • Also works in Black MarketBlack Markets and all other places where heart containers can be exchanged for an item.

Notes

  • Your Soul has no effect on Devil Deals that cost money instead of health, such as from Keeper's BargainKeeper's Bargain, or playing Character Keeper icon.pngKeeper and Character Tainted Keeper icon.pngTainted Keeper.
  • Using Your Soul as Character The Lost icon.pngThe Lost / Character Tainted Lost icon.pngTainted Lost grants the possibility of taking two items from the Devil Deal instead of only one.
  • Using Your Soul still counts as taking a Devil Deal for the purpose of determining Angel RoomAngel Room eligibility.
  • Taking multiple deals at the same time with Character Jacob and Esau icon.pngJacob and Esau will make both free. The trinket will still be removed.

Interactions

  • Golden TrinketGolden Trinket / Mom's BoxMom's Box: No effect.
  • Multiple copies: Only one Soul is consumed taking a deal, allowing other copies to be spent separately.
