XV - The Devil?

XV - The Devil? is an unlockable card added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

Effects

• Invokes The Bible effect.
• Grants Flight and spawns a Seraphim familiar for 30 seconds.

Notes

• The Bible effect can kill Mom, Mom's Heart, and It Lives!. It will also kill Isaac if XV - The Devil? is used during the Satan fight.
  • As such, killing Mom with XV - The Devil? can also unlock A Halo.
• The card's effect persists in the Knife Piece 2 abandoned area, allowing for easier completion of the chase sequence. However, the effect is likely to wear off before the end of the sequence.
• The Seraphim familiar disappears precisely 30 seconds after use, but the flight ability is removed only after exiting the room the 30 seconds were elapsed in.
