Giant Cell

Tried using this with Repentance's Giant Cell, but the two little familiars just turned into coins when I used Sacrificial Altar. Don't know if this is an intended interaction. --Juniperbelmont (talk) 22:01, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

Unlock condition (I think): Pick up goat head 5 (?) times

This unlocked immediately upon adding BP5 for me, but none of the known item based unlocks did. It seems unlikely that I've gotten Goat Head ≥5 times and Blood Clot <10 times since a counter was added. --QGrav42

Isaac's Head interaction

Anybody know about Isaac's Head interaction?

Unlock method

I recently started a new save file and this item unlocked after picking up Lord of the Pit. Not sure how mant times I picked it up though. It might also be connected to the total number of devil deals taken. (Comment by OciXCrom)

Maybe it's not linked to devil deal taking but collecting devil pool items whether from a deal or not? That would need some investigating to be certain. Frionil (talk) 13:25, 19 April 2020 (UTC)

Loss of Transformation from consuming familiars

Note:

If the familiars you sacrifice are attributing to a transformation then you will lose the transformation upon consuming said familiars. Feels like an important point however unclear if it should be on this page or the transformation page.

Context: Had Beezlebub from exactly 3 items ( Best Bud, Blue turret fly and psy fly) activating altar made me lose beezlebub. I just realized i consumed my psy fly RIP

The Devil? card interaction

If used while the player temporarily has Seraphim spawned by the "The Devil?" card, you get an item for Seraphim, but Seraphim doesn't disappear until the usual timer runs out.
