Spelunker Hat is a passive item.
Effect
- Reveals on the map what type of room all rooms adjacent to your current room are (Shop, Sacrifice Room, etc.).
- Can also reveal
Secret Rooms, 
Super Secret Rooms, and 
Mini-Boss Rooms. 
Reveals rooms up to 2 rooms away.
- Can also reveal
- Blocks projectiles falling from above.
- Cannot block Mom's Foot.

- The item is a reference to the game Spelunky.
- Despite being a light source such as the
Night Light, this item does not project a beam of light. - In the original Binding of Isaac, Spelunker Hat was not unlocked by default and had to be unlocked by beating The Caves for the first time.
