Second Hand is a trinket added in The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth.
Effect
- Increases the time that status effects stay on enemies.

The Bean / 
The Black Bean / 
Contagion: The poison duration from these items is not affected by Second Hand.
Hemoptysis: The Brimstone curse duration is affected by Second Hand. This also applies to 
Tainted Azazel.-
Meconium: The confuse duration from 
Black Poops is unaffected by Second Hand. 
Mega Bean: Doubles the petrification duration but not the poison duration.-
2Spooky / 
Venus: The fear/charm effect will last for twice as long after an enemy leaves Isaac's radius.

Trivia
- Second Hand's sprite was changed for Booster Pack #5.
- It's appearance is based off a clock's second hand, i.e. the hand that displays the seconds elapsed.
