Playdough Cookie is a passive item added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.
Effects
- Every tear has a different color and different corresponding effect. One of the following effects can be granted:
Notes
- The color of the tears from Playdough Cookie are not based on luck, but their individual effects are. (e.g. Red
Fire Mind tears will always explode at 13 Luck.)
Synergies
Aquarius: Each individual puddle will grant a different effect, and will copy the corresponding color.

Tech X: Beam(s) apply a different effect every tick, and have an RGB filter. This can be used to rapidly apply different effects.

Epic Fetus: Explosions still use the effects the tears give them, while also inheriting their synergies with the items they're based on and (for Dr. Fetus) visually resembling them. (e.g. Dark Red becomes 
Hot Bombs, Green becomes 
Bob's Curse).
- They don't gain damage from Red, or lose damage from Blue, however.
Spirit Sword: Every swing gains a different color and effect based on that color. This can be used to rapidly apply different effects.

Notched Axe: Every swing gains a different color and effect based on that color. It lacks the ability to be spammed that Spirit Sword has, however. 
Ipecac: Fire Mind tears drop a fire pit upon exploding.
Jacob's Ladder: Lasers use the same effect as the tear.-
Tainted Lilith: The whip attack will apply different effects normally. 
The Ludovico Technique: The tear changes color at your tear rate and gives the corresponding effects.
Maw Of The Void: No effect.
Mom's Knife: Applies a different effect every tick.
Revelation / 
Montezuma's Revenge: Applies the RGB filter, but does not gain its effects.
Technology: Beam applies a different effect every hit, and gains the RGB filter.
Varicose Veins: Each one of the 10 tears spawned on hit has one of the available random effects applied to it.
Trivia
- This item is named Playdoh Cookie in Antibirth; this potentially was changed due to copyright issues. Playdoh Cookie had only 5 different tear colors, and some were not included or had their effects changed in Repentance. Its pickup quote was also changed from "Multicolored tears".
- Prior to Antibirth this item originated in the Community Remix mod for the original Binding of Isaac where it was based on a Reddit [1] concept.
- The pickup quote of this item is possibly a reference to the Skittles' slogan, "Taste the Rainbow".
- Most of the tear effects are correspondent to tear effects of a similar color or effect. The only exception is Dark Blue, which has no correlation to
Proptosis.
- Green resembles
Scorpio's tears. Other poison items exist, but it is guaranteed much like Scorpio and matches its color. - Yellow resembles
Mom's Perfume's tears. Other fear items exist, but it matches that of Mom's Perfume. - Light Blue resembles
Uranus' tear color, minus the ice shape. - Pink resembles
Mom's Eyeshadow's tears. - Red resembles the colors of
Eye of Belial's sprite and 
Mom's Contacts's tears.
- Although Fire Mind is less similar, it could be based on Fire Pits having an orange and red variant.

Brain Worm still counts as a form of homing, though it does not change tear color.
