Synergies

  • Character ??? icon.png???, (in Repentance and Repentance+) Character Tainted ??? icon.pngTainted ???, Character Black Judas icon.pngBlack Judas, (in Repentance and Repentance+) Character Tainted Judas icon.pngTainted Judas, and (in Repentance and Repentance+) Character Tainted Forgotten icon.pngTainted Forgotten: Decreases the chances of useless red heart drops, which these characters can't pick up.
  • (in Repentance and Repentance+) Character Bethany icon.pngBethany: Sacrifices potential healing for more charges. Usefulness depends on active item.
  • Character Eve icon.pngEve/Whore of BabylonWhore of Babylon: Decreases the chance of useless red heart drops when trying to maintain the half a heart (full heart on Eve) of red heart health required to keep Whore of Babylon's ability active.
  • (in Repentance and Repentance+) Character Tainted Bethany icon.pngTainted Bethany: Sacrifices potential blood charges for more health. Overall, still a beneficial pickup.
  • (in Repentance and Repentance+) Character Tainted Magdalene icon.pngTainted Magdalene: Due to the "in your face" gameplay of Tainted Maggy, soul hearts will not be as useful up until the later floors.

Interactions

  • (except in Rebirth) Character Keeper icon.pngKeeper/(in Repentance and Repentance+) Character Tainted Keeper icon.pngTainted Keeper: Nearly useless, since all hearts are converted into blue flies anyway. The only use is contributing to the Seraphim transformation.
