The Holy Card is a special card added in The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth †.

Effects

  • Grants a one-time Collectible Holy Mantle icon.pngHoly Mantle effect.
    • (except in Repentance and Repentance+) This only applies for the current room.
    • (in Repentance and Repentance+) The effect lasts until damage is taken.
  • (except in Repentance and Repentance+) Has a 25% chance to display the message "You feel blessed!" and spawn another Holy Card.

Notes

  • The effect cannot be stacked by using multiple Holy Cards.
  • (in Repentance and Repentance+) Character Tainted Lost icon.pngTainted Lost starts with this card. Additionally, Holy Cards are significantly more common when playing as this character and can be found even if they have not been unlocked.

Interactions

  • Collectible Blanket icon.pngBlanket: Holy Card's effect takes priority over the shield from Blanket in Boss RoomBoss Rooms.
  • Collectible Holy Mantle icon.pngHoly Mantle: Effect stacks with Holy Card.
  • Wooden CrossWooden Cross: Stacks with Holy Card depending on the order of use. If Wooden Cross is picked up after Holy Card has been used, their effects don't stack. If Holy Card is used after Wooden Cross has been picked up, they do. The stacking only lasts for the current room.
  • Collectible Little Baggy icon.pngLittle Baggy: Will make Isaac unable to find Holy Cards, as all cards turn into pills. If Holy Card is dropped after taking Little Baggy, the Holy Card will turn into a random pill.
