Forgotten Lullaby is an unlockable trinket added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

Effects

  • Doubles the rate of fire of Isaac's familiars.
    • Familiars with charged shots will have their charge time halved. The recovery time between shots is not affected.

Notes

  • (in Repentance+) This trinket has a 1% chance to drop when defeating Boss The Siren ingame.pngThe Siren.
  • Does not affect wisps.

Interactions

  • Golden TrinketGolden Trinket / Mom's BoxMom's Box : No effect.
  • IncubusIncubus / Twisted PairTwisted Pair: As the familiars depend on Isaac's fire rate, Incubus and Twisted Pair work normally up to moderately high fire rates around 10. Beyond that, however, Forgotten Lullaby starts to lose effect: at 27.5 fire rate e.g. achievable with Soy MilkSoy Milk there no longer is any improvement and going even higher the trinket becomes detrimental, halving the familiars' damage output at the absolute maximum of 120 fire rate.
  • Character Tainted Lilith icon.pngTainted Lilith: No effect on her special GelloGello.
  • (in Repentance+) HushyHushy: No effect on Hushy.

  • This trinket was originally called Song of the Siren in Antibirth.
  • "Forgotten Lullaby" is the title of the secret room theme in Mudeth's original soundtrack for the Antibirth mod.
