Fire Mind

Jump to navigation Jump to search

Fire Mind is a passive item.

Effect

  • Tears inflict burn to enemies.
  • Tears have a chance to explode on impact with an enemy, leaving behind a fire.
    • Explosions do Isaac's current tear damage, in addition to the tear's hit.
    • (except in Repentance and Repentance+) The fires deal 22 damage per tick.
    • (in Repentance and Repentance+) Each fire deals up to 4 ticks of damage: 1st tick deals 23 damage, 2nd tick 17.3 damage, and 3rd and 4th tick 11.5 damage.
      • (in Repentance and Repentance+) Fires can block projectiles, up to 4 times, each time getting smaller.
        • Isaac cannot take damage from the flame, but can still take damage from the explosion.
  • (except in Rebirth) Isaac gives a wide glow lighting up dark areas, such as those under the effects of the Curse of Darkness.pngCurse of Darkness or the Boss Dark One ingame.pngDark One's attacks.

Notes

  • The explosion effect chance depends on the luck stat, and the formula used to determine the chance is: 110Luck*0.7
    • At base Luck (0), the chance is 10%, maxing out at 100% at 12.86 Luck.
  • (except in Repentance and Repentance+) An exploding tear does not set either the hit enemy or anything in the blast range on fire.
    • (in Repentance and Repentance+) All enemies hit by the explosion will be set on fire.
  • Explosive and burning damage is equal to Isaac's current damage stat.
  • The flame will transform certain enemies into their fire-related versions (e. g. Hopper.pngHoppers into Flaming Hopper.pngFlaming Hoppers).
  • Tears can explode upon hitting Bomb.pngBombs of any kind.
