- The existence of this item suggests that the way Isaac’s father left his
Mom as seen in 
Chest's ending (Ending 14) could have been through a divorce.
- A more detailed rendition of Divorce Papers can be found in The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls Card Game. The papers are signed by Isaac's mother, but not his father, implying that a divorce was filed but the process was left incomplete.
