Cricket Leg

Cricket Leg is an unlockable trinket added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

Effects

• Has a 1/6 chance to spawn a random locust when killing an enemy.
  • Up to 4 White Locusts can be spawned from a single enemy.
• The trinket is not affected by luck.

Synergies

• Bomber Boy: Red locusts explode in a small horizontal cross-shape pattern.

• Brimstone Bombs: Red locusts will shoot out four brimstone beams in a + formation after hitting an enemy.

• Glitter Bombs: Red locust explosions have a chance to spawn pickups or trinkets.

• Cricket Leg / Golden Trinket / Mom's Box: The chance to spawn a locust increases to 1/3.
  • Multiple copies of the trinket increase the chance by 1/6 per copy. At 6 copies, enemies are guaranteed to spawn locusts on death.

• Hive Mind: Increases locusts' size and doubles their damage.
  • Red locusts’ impact damage is doubled and the explosion damage is increased to 85.

• Sad Bombs: Red locusts fire a ring of ten tears outward upon detonation, which are affected by Isaac's tear modifiers, and deal damage equal to 15 + 0.6x, where x is Isaac's Damage.

Interactions

• Ace Cards: Enemies that are turned into pickups don’t spawn locusts.
• E. Coli/Flush!: Enemies that are turned into poop don't spawn locusts.

Trivia

• Despite this trinket's name, as well as the locusts' in-game appearance, real life locusts are "the swarming phase of certain species of short-horned grasshoppers".

Bugs

Bug!	Each use of Glowing Hourglass that does not move Isaac to a different room from the one he is currently in (such as by teleporting to the previous room then using it again) will duplicate the locusts.
