Charged Penny is an unlockable trinket added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

Effects

  • Picking up coins has a chance to add one charge to Isaac's currently held Active Item.
    • This chance is equal to 1/6th of the value of the coin, and cannot activate more than once per coin collected.

Trivia

  • This trinket used to be called Electric Penny in Antibirth, and had a different sprite. In Antibirth, it was always unlocked and nickels and dimes would proc the charge chance 5 and 10 times respectively.
