Ancient Recall is an unlockable special card added in The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth †.

Notes

  • Being a special card, Ancient Recall has a significantly lower chance of appearing compared to other cards.
  • Special "cards" like (in Repentance and Repentance+)Cracked KeyCracked Key and Dice ShardDice Shard can be spawned, but runes cannot spawn.

  • Ancient Recall has been added in Booster Pack #1, after the initial release of the DLC.
  • Ancient Recall is based on this Steam Workshop mod by aeiou.
  • Ancient Recall is a reference to the card Ancestral Recall from Magic: The Gathering.
  • (in Repentance and Repentance+) Prior to patch v1.7.7 of Repentance, it was possible to spawn infinite cards with this card and (in Repentance and Repentance+)Echo Chamber.
